Peter Schwarzenbauer

President and Chief Executive Officer- Porsche Cars North America, Inc.

Peter Schwarzenbauer maintains overall responsibility for the import and distribution of Porsche cars and parts in the United States and Canada. He leads PCNA in its relations with more than 200 dealers, as well as PCNA’s marketing and service of Porsche products in North America.

Mr. Schwarzenbauer graduated in business administration from the Munich University of Applied Sciences and began his career at BMW AG. While at BMW AG, he was in charge of overseas markets in central marketing. In 1988, he became the head of product events. From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Schwarzenbauer served as business development manager in the motorcycle division for BMW of North America. Two years later, he took over sales management for Europe at BMW motorcycles in Munich.

In 1994, Mr. Schwarzenbauer joined Porsche AG as sales manager for the German market and two years later became the head of marketing for Germany. In 1997, Porsche AG appointed him managing director of Porsche Iberica, Madrid, a position that he held until joining Porsche Cars North America, Inc. in March 2003.
