Hi there can anyone tell me the paint dot codes on the front springs for the M030 kit as i just bought the kit second hand on e-bay for a steal. Only trouble is 1 front spring is red & green dot & the other is either grey or white & green. Also the grey is about 20mm higher stood on floor. That matches my standard springs. Remember i am in uk so different from US spec. Any help would be much appreciated from loren & gang. Cheers.

There are different springs (standard and sport) depending on coupe or cab or Targa. As well 2WD or 4WD and 6-speed vs Tiptronic.

They are vehicle weight matched.

Do you know what model specs they came from - and what are the model specs you want to fit them to?

Hi loren they came from he said a 996 C2 cab 2001 My car is a 2001 996 coupe C2 non facelift but 3.6litre. I have fitted H&R springs which lowers the car all round by 30mm & looks great but if you see pictures i posted earlier on here you can see the car is really low. The problem in the UK is there is speed bumps in the road in built up areas & i cannot drive over them without the front turbo bumper scraping underneath. So i bought a M030 to only lower the car by around 15mm. God i can rabbit on but maybe you can see what i am trying to acheive. Is a cab lighter or hevier than a coupe. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks loren. Yes i looked at the parts catalogue kind suggestion of R.Hamilton PCGB & saw that. That will mean the coupe with cab springs will not ride as low & will be stiffer 50lb per corner less preload. I think the best thing would be to use the kit i got but buy some new coupe M030 springs. Or be a total idiot & cut small amounts ???? No not a good idea. Will price up some springs. Thanks.
