Hardtop for Boxster !

Recommended Posts

Dear, good day ... :welcome:

I believe in the sunny day, wind blow over my hair and "Gone with the wind" ... that the passion with my boxster with top down ...

But once a while, I need a little something to eliminate the Wind Noise ... That when I need a top for our Boxster ...

We have the Optional OEM Hardtop from Porsche ... And we after market hardtop maker ...

I like the below After-market hardtop ... :clapping:

From Suttgart

http://www.stuttgart.co.uk/986hardtop/boxht1.html

From Zeintec

http://www.zeintec.com/

I need a second opioion ... or suggestions ... Bcoz I afraid to spoil the passion on my boxster with awkward add-on cover

:notworthy:

I kind of like the Suttgart design myself. It doesn't try to make the Boxster look like a Cayman, but it has more style than the stock HT. It fits the car well, and sits on the car well. It looks like a stylish Boxster HT, not a piece of bodywork stuck on to make a Boxster into a Cayman.

I was enamored with the Zeintec design when I first saw it, but the more I thought about it, the more I didn't like it. For one, it attempts to make the Boxster look like a Cayman. If you want a Cayman, trade your Boxster in on one. Don't demean it by making it a Cayman wannabe. Second, it is overpriced and hard to get. Finally, and most importantly, I don't like the way it sits on the car. It looks exactly like what it is - an afterthought. It doesn't look like it belongs there.

If you price out the Stuttgart top, let me know what kind of price they quote you.

Just my $.02 :P

The Stuttgart top is far more attractive than the Cayman style top. I agree, if you want the Cayman look, buy a Cayman. I only drive my car in warm weather, so I don't require a hard top; but if I did it would be the Stuttgart.
