Guys,

Does anyone know if we get extended coverage on the CATs in Florida?

Some background to the question; I have a 2002 C4S 38k miles.

A couple of months back I noticed an annoying rattle from the exhaust, louder when cold. I haven't been able isolate the source but believe the sound is internal. Around the same time the DME threw up a P0430 error "cat system below threshold". I reset it and it returned a month later, reset again and I haven't seen it since. I wondered if the two could be related?

A couple of days ago I pulled out of a junction and gave the car full throttle around 4k rpm. The car didn't have the urgency I have come to expect at the top end, almost like the PSM was kicking in. Trying the same exercise in a straight line 2nd gear, dry road the same lack of "pull" at the top end. Losing performance and not just a rattle I cannot live with :cursing:

There are currently no check engine lights and the car goes well otherwise besides full throttle at the top end. I still notice the cam transition around 3k so believe the variocam still functions ok.

Any Ideas, would a faulty O2 sensor cause my performance issue and not kick out an error?
