996 C2 Mass Air Flow Sensor

Recommended Posts

Gentlemen,

I just had my rough running 996 C2 CAB diagnosed by my local OPC in Colchester (UK) and my MAF has gone bad <_<

My car is a '99 996 C2 CAB (Manual) and I'm pretty sure that the Porsche Part No. is 996.606.123.00 (i.e. non-4wd and non-e-gas). However, to assist in sourcing this part outside the Porsche deeler network, I was wondering if anyone knew the Bosch Part Number for it?

Thank you in anticipation of your advice.

Might also give a try at cleaning it with some electronics cleaner.

Thank you, gents. I have sourced the part from the states, as it's less than half price from a UK OPC. Should be with me between 4-10 working days (I'll just have to put up with the reduced performance for a few more days!).

Many thanks for the info and suggestions.
