I'm only getting 13.5mpg (US) in my C2S. I've been doing a lot of stop and go driving (in LA), but 13.5 still seems abnormally low. I had a Range Rover sport that would do better in traffic.

Looks like you do more stopping than going . Lol

My 997 S averages ~ 19.5 mpg in light traffic.

Track average is about 6 MPG. Street is about 18 MPG. Highway is in the mid 20's? Not really sure there but I know the last 200 miles since I reset (leaving the track) showed 18.2 MPG and I haven't been on the highway since reset.

I'm lucky if I average 13 mpg on my '06 C2S with a mix of local/highway driving. My '02 996 was averaging 18-20 mpg with the same type of mixed driving. I'm always in sport mode so I don't know if that makes any difference.

The milage with my car has been much better than I expected. I drive my 2005 C2S to work daily and currently have about 30,000 miles on the car. The current milage is 25.9 mpg based on about 3000 since the last reset. The trip is about 30 miles each way, typically at 70 to 80 mph, on an interstate highway and that certainly helps. This winter, while the weather was cold, I was getting only 23.5 (or less) on the exact same drive. I do some autocrossing with the car and the milage does take a pounding, but for the commute I just plug in the iPod and enjoy the curves.
