I have been offered door from a 996

1. just from the pictures, would you reckon that they are in good shape to go on my wifes car?

2. if above yes, the mirror corner, can it be replaced from ours car?

I wouldn't, because who knows is a 996 door will fit a boxster. Also, the airbag could have gone of, the inside could be wrecked, and the structural integrity of the door could be compromised. Wht do you need to replace the door, anyway?

Unless you are getting them free I wouldn't attempt it. I feel the same as rick3000. There are beginning to be enough Boxsters around that you should be able to find one in great shape and possibly even the same color-much easier to paint or maybe not even have to repaint. In addition what if your hinges don't match, are bent, or the door strikers are in different places.

Or if yours are really bad you could take them off completely and make the first BoxsterJeep! :D

That's exactly what I needed to hear, thank you all.

So far I have no luck finding black door, only blue and silver :(

I need to change ours as they can't be repaired as the hinges has been touched (so the garage said :) )
