Any "must Have" Boxster Items In Germany?

Recommended Posts

Leaving tomorrow on a 9 day business trip to Germany. Factory tour already arranged (looking forward to more than any other part of the trip). Is there any "must buy" Boxster item I should look for that I can't get at home? Nothing kitschy, and there's nothing I can think of I need. But if there's something I can't order any other way, suggestions please...

Wish I would have known sooner. I would have set you up with the German Boxster board people. I can try if it is not too late.

Olaf from Germany was in San Jose a few weeks ago for a convention and about 14 of us got together for dinner.

I can't think of anything you can buy there we cannot buy here - except for the Porsche YoYo I gave the money to Olaf to buy for me when he returned to Germany.

I think the gift shop has some things that are only sold there. I have a Boxster book that is only sold there - in English - but I bought it from a guy in Germany.

Bring you camera phone and take spy shots of the 987. Jeff

Let me guess - cross drilled yoyo!?

I'll be travelling with a customer and colleague from another company (he'll have the car), and was just happy the customer was up for the Porsche tour.

I'll see if I can get some 987 spy photos, but I was told no photos on the factory tour, and they've probably on to cell phone cameras. Maybe I'll see some test mules driving around on the autobahn :D

There was a cool turbo key chain in the last Christopherous, but was kind of pricy for a keychain (not surprising given the dollar relative to the euro now), and I don't have a turbo :(

Any other ideas? I'll try to check here before dashing off to the airport in the morning. Not expecting to have any convenient internet access on the trip
