Error/fault Codes P0134 (10), P01115 (13)

I have had 2 error/fault codes:

1. P0134 code 10 - O2 sensor ahead of cat conv.

2. PO1115 code 13 -Heating power O2 s ahead of cat bank 1

Anyone venture a explanation/discription of these?

P0134 Oxygen Sensor Ahead of TWC, Bank 1 – Interruption of Signal

Possible causes:

Open circuit in signal wire or ground wire

Oxygen sensor heating not functioning

Output stage in DME control module faulty

Internal resistance too high

Check:

– Wiring harness

– Oxygen sensor

– DME control module

P1115 Oxygen Sensor Heating Ahead of TWC, Bank 1 – Above Limit

Heating current too high

– Heating resistance too low

– Short to B+

Heating current too low

– Short to ground

– Corrosion in connector

– Break in wiring except for a few wires

Open circuit – Break in wiring

– Heating resistance too great

Internal resistance of oxygen sensor too high

– Open circuit in sensor line

– Oxygen sensor

Are both of these from the same sensor and which side is it? Left standing at back of car. And is it possible to test by swapping cables on O2's? Added some data of my Custom supercharger at idle from the duramatic realtime log. Note the before and after readings on O2's conv.

Bank 1 is the left side of the car (on a Carrera) cylinders 1-3.

I have no idea what your readings should be with a supercharger. From the fault codes I would look for bad connections on the O2 sensor before the cat on the left hand side.

Clean the connections and reset the codes and see if they come back. If the same codes come back - that O2 sensor is likely bad.

What is O2 resistance showing? the O2 itself? F7. and 8 are bank 1, and F11/12 are bank 2.

The second graph are of the voltages both sides.

The best advice is to take it to a reputable diagnostic porsche tech. Looks like one of your Upstream O2 sensors is locked on the lean side and its coresponding downstream is also on the lean side which typically indicates a bad cat converter. The data logging you have is really worthless, what you need to do is use a Dvom and monitor the voltages---force a rich and lean condition to see if the O2 sensors respond properly, switch rate from rich to lean on a good sensor is less than 100 ms. So thats pretty fast. If you cant take it to a tech, perform a hard reset and see if codes return.

44, Not sure what you mean I am using Durametric software and not familiar with DVOM, the O2 voltages are in the first data pictures above take a look. How do you force a reading? If you rev engine would this not acheive the same results? What do you consider a hard reset?
