17" is stock and the best choice for winter tires traction and price as well.

Actually, as far as I know...I believe that you cant. 17" are stock on the v6 Cayenne b/c the calipers are smaller. On the CS and Turbo, 18"s are the smallest that can go sicne the calipers are bigger (the CS and the CT have the same calipers).

As long as you do not have the performance kit (with the 19" rotors) the 17" wheels will fit fine. (per TSB 10/04 4440 Winter Tires and Wheels -- dated Sep 15, 2004)

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your input. I have decided to go with some 20" Michilin's. Hopefully they work, if not I guess I will be in for a new car next year!! Our roads are usually pretty good, I'll just have to use the beamer on the really bad days!
