You can do it by yourself, if you are handy, the manual and the electric operated as well. The dealer have to program the hitch in the car system.

Only need a manual system, as I only tow the smallest of trailers to the local recycling center

Yes, there is a TSB on the Trailer Hitch installation. All TSBs are available here for viewing by our Contributing Members.
