Brake rattle (I think)

Hi guys,

I have a 2001 C4 and recently out of the blue it started rattleing from the front when going over uneven surfaces. As soon as I apply the brake, the rattle stops ... but when i drive in reverse, there is no rattle ... :huh:

Also when the car is cold, there is no rattling ... :huh:

I took it to my dealer and they couldn't find the problem, I am pretty sure the problem is from the brakes and not any suspension part but if someone has any idea or experience can they please help!

Look for loose swaybar mounting bolts. That is fairly common.

Thanks, but will that be affected under braking? Can you please explain in a bit more detail what the part is and where it is. Thanks a lot!

Yes, you could feel it under braking.

If you don't know where the swaybar is (and it's mount then you best take it to a good Porsche shop.
