I've got a 97 Turbo S and it has all kind of aftermarket stereo stuff in it and I'm trying to return it to stock. I've got all the original parts I'd just feel better with a wiring diagram to double check my work..... Anyone have one or know where I could find one?

Hi Loren

I am looking for the same diagram but for a european 993 Turbo model year 1995. I believe the wiring war different for 1995 model year atleast for the M490 Amp system.

Do you have that by any chance?

Thanks in advance

RF

Sorry, this is all I have.

Many thanks!

There appears to be no difference in the wiring other than for the CD-Changer, which is actually good news.

I too am trying to put the system in my car back to stock but what puzzles me is the cable between the radio and the amplifier.

The diagram shows 5 wires in the mini iso plug which normally has 6 connections between the radio and amplifier which must be:

1. Line Out LR

2. Line Out RR

3. Line Out Ground

4. Line Out LF

5. Line Out RF

The 6th connection should be switched power to tell the amp to turn on but it is not clear from the diagram (could be due to my limited ability to read electric diagrams :-)

Any input from somebody who have worked on these connections is much appreciated.

Regards
