Re-affix Wheel Crest - glue rec's?

Miscreant Yout's separated 2 of my new OEM enamel wheel crests from the silver backing. One of the crests is salvageable other was bent with a screwdriver or key. Glad the tophy hunters didn't go for the bonnet crest.

In any case, is there any recommended glue to re-affix these so they stay put when I'm giv'ner? Also, not sure I want to bother pressing the crest on for 30 mins...Crazy Glue? Not a huge biggie, should I just get another set?

I used Goop brand from the auto parts store, heat & oil resistant, like heavy duty rubber cement for something similar (VW logo in engine compartment of Passat). So far so good.

Another option used when I used to do wheels and tires back in the day, is RTV sealant. Definitely heat and oil resistant and easy to remove at a later point and then re-do. Always seemed to work well.
