10 Red 2 Red

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I have been having problems with my alarm system, always something going wrong. Anyway, Everything works fine when I lock/unlock the car using either remote or key. However, after about 20-50 minutes the alarm goes off. I have ensured that all doors are locked etc but it still does it. I did checked under the seat (did not remove it, just lifted the carper) and found a very little water. I check the felt around the alarm unit area and all seems to be dry.

When I activate the alarm using the key or remote I get the following red flashes off the dash alarm signal indicator. 10 red flashes when activated and then 2 flashes about everyt 2 or 3 seconds there after. Is this normal? I don't recall this many flashes when everything worked fine. Can anyone with the same boxster tell me what yours flashes? :help:

I am puzzled.

Any help would be appreciated.
