I have found in highway driving that my top rattles when buffeted by passing trucks and gusts of wind. Can this be adjusted out? Sounds like the locking latch is rattling...

Hi there

I am told this is easily fixed by your local OPC. Have you spoken to them?

Regards

Chris

Just took car to dealer on saturday about top making racket. Of course it did not act up for him and was relatively quiet. He lubed the rubber but thats it. Well on the way home from Sacramento boy did it make alot of flopping racket. Headed south bound with a good cross wind blowing east the top noise was horrendous! I just have a hard time believing that wind buffeting can cause so much noise. Hard top may be my only solice.

Is this normal?? :cursing:

I'm sure that in the UK they pack foam into the roof somewhere and am told it fixes the problem. I'd go right back and tell 'em I want it fixed. From what I'm told here it's a very small, quick job.

Hope you come right.

Regards

Chris
