  1. Found a bit. Sounds like I need to disconnect the battery (neg). The ptf link was dead but I did get the idea I think.
  2. Any tips? Could not find specific how to on this. Any help greatly appreciated. I am purchasing an aftermarket airbag wheel for "Tak" and don't want to take it anywhere and pay for what could be an easy job.
  3. On an 04 2.7 if you are switching pads don't many omit the use of a wear sensor, or not even have the provision to use the sensor? Any pads other then oem that do use the sensor? It appears that it clips to the top of the pad but I can't tell id it is actually integrated or not (or simply clips on). Thanks!
  4. After the research I have done I believe the Dansk are 100 cell.
  5. I would really like to come as well. I missed the last one with tech session and all. Maybe next week no rain...sun would be great!!
  6. I have the Eurodezigns in my Porsche and they look very HID to me. Supposedly 6000k temperature 55w fairly inexpensive and made in usa. I am very happy so far!
  7. Great info! Are the Dansk Cats 200 cell? Any problems with check engine lights? Were all the 02 sensor fittings kept and used?
  8. I know that there is alot of debate about this but I believe that the scargo carbon fiber intake is a better piece. IMHO. Smoother tubes great finish I have seen close ups but hope to see one in person real soon!
  9. I have not spoken to the dealer since then but I have definitely decided that it is a wind buffeting thing. The inner liner actually makes a flopping sound. Perhaps the foam would help, is this a dealer thing?
  10. That's the plan. But I want to use thread in style. Having trouble finding them.
  11. I am an advocate of bolt on's. Call Rob at scargo about mod's. Motor swaps are intensive procedures and quite costly. Even though it is about 6k for headers, intake, ecu and labor. I am told this will give me 25h.p. not cheap at all but still gives an element of exclusivity and an edge in performance over a stock car. If you have an S car to start with you can make them really scream with bolt on's. 275-290h.p. is nothing to scoff at in my book. I look forward to doing these mod's in the next couple of years with scargo racing doing the work.
  12. ...Boxster....I can spell! Looking for these part numbers?
  13. Just took car to dealer on saturday about top making racket. Of course it did not act up for him and was relatively quiet. He lubed the rubber but thats it. Well on the way home from Sacramento boy did it make alot of flopping racket. Headed south bound with a good cross wind blowing east the top noise was horrendous! I just have a hard time believing that wind buffeting can cause so much noise. Hard top may be my only solice. Is this normal?? :cursing:
  14. The price will be $595 instead of $895 if he can get an order of 10 together. He already has several on the list. A 50%deposit is required. An honest 10h.p. is claimed and I have a good report first hand of dyno results in line with thisScargo racing Call Rob with Questions ;)
  15. Anyone using this piece on a 2.7. What about their headers? Any experiences with them positive or otherwise would be appreciated.
  16. Same thing happened to me the second week I had the car! Many chargers will not charge a completely dead battery (needs at least 3-4volts to accept a charge. Just remember if it happens again use jumper cables and you will be right as rain. Oh and the official battery drain to zero is about 30 hrs when key is left in dash but not in the on position. The good news is now I have 2-chargers and a set of jumper cables......!
  17. The battery tender is very nice and is computer controlled so there is no overcharging. The plus model charges at 1.25 amps and will top off your battery within 1-2days. Only about $45!
  18. When you eliminated the pre-cats any problems with check engine lights?
