Sunroof rattling when closed. Help!

Hi,

My 2001 996 carrera 4 Tip coupe has a rattle from the sunroof when I go over bumps, the rattle stops when the sunroof is open (even very slightly open) is there any adjustment on the motor stop position for the roof, as I was hoping this could cure my rattle if it could be adjusted.

Any other suggestions on the cause of my rattle would be much appreciated.

Have a look at the TSBs on the sunroof.

There is one for a new style deflector and another for various noises.

Thanks Loren, I saw those. I needed to buy a replacement air deflector as it is missing on mine. I ordered a used one, and then saw your post so I wanted to see which ones I got. But maybe I missed it in those TSBs, I don't see a change to defector, I guess it maybe consolidated as part of new frame.
