Targa module and convertible vs duramétric tool.

Recommended Posts

Is there someone here that did diagnostic of a Targa top module with Duramétric tool?

I just bought this tool and i cant read module by selecting convertible top.I always have code 0 fail to initialize.

I can read all other module of the car.My targa top is close and dont want to open.

Are the targa and convertible have the same module model?

Thanks.

elrand

My car is a 996 targa 2003

I don't think the Durametric reads the Targa module - it is not on their matrix. Probably best to drop them an email and ask to be sure. They are very good about responding to customers.

The reason I asked about order type is that many MY2003 cars did not have the order type entered in the DME from the factory. This prevented some system controls from being programmed/or seen.

So, in some cases even a Porsche PST2 or PIWIS tester gets a similar error. Once you set the order type correctly - then everything works.

I already ask to Durametric and they said that targa module is suppose to be the same as convertible module and they are suppose to make test

with targa module on bench work.I am waithing for other news.

Is that what you want?

Yes, 996210 is the correct order type for a Targa.

I would say the issue is likely the Durametric software.
