Thank you, you are correct MY2009 Cayenne side markers are changed to turn signals via PIWIS, so is radio (settings) and DVD coding (not like it makes any difference). all i need to know now is how to load European map on US PCM3 (but that project can wait)

The nav. map is on the hard disc, the dealer have to place an order by the importer, he receive a code# and put it in the PIWIS which writhe the update on the hard disc. This is the actual procedure for PCM 3 update, perhaps you need something similar to change the US map to the Euro map.

this is bad news - my dealer knows nothing. i had to tell them (from your advice) that turn lights are configured on PIWIS as they wanted to install new wires :(. Is this procedure described somewhere in a dealer manual so that i can tell them where to read? btw, thank for your previous replies

Let him call the Porsche importer technical service for the step by step procedure, it's save money and time for you both.

thank you for reply. so is this called "importer technical service" at Porsche or he has to call Porsche in my country (France)? I also tell him that maps are now on PIWIS and he just have to download it to PCM3?

1) Porsche France Service apres vente/service technique.

2) Yes, PCM3 works that way, there are no longer update disks available. If your dealer makes a phone call to them he will receive instructions how to do if a solution for your problem exist.

Loren, is there any way to receive the entire picture of a bigger diagram that i can see in lower righthand corner of that picture? Is this software available to to simple human or is a dealer only?

This is from inside PIWIS - so all I can do get a screen shot. So I can only "blow-up" small sections and still have them readable.

What exactly do you need?

you gave me picture on the ipod end , i was trying to see how these wires (from previous picture) connect to PCM connector. i cannot see well but my guess is that it is the area to the left of previous picture where other end of these wires connect to PCM

Here are the connections from the iPod back to PCM3.

I hope it is readable.
