PSE Installed Today

Recommended Posts

All I can say is wow!!! I received my car back today from the dealer as they installed the PSE with the on-off dash switch. I ordered this when I bought the car a few weeks ago after hearing it on another 911. I am not sure how many of you have heard the difference but it is truly an amazing sound. From 3000-5000 RPMs it makes an incredible gargling/cracking sound similar to a custom Harley. When idling, you also hear the gargle with a bit of a spitting sound like it needs more air. For those who love the car but want a stronger growl from the pipes, I'd strongly recommended this option. My two cents.... :clapping:

Paid $3000 which included the PSE, on-off switch and the installation. I believe the list price for the PSE is $2400. Note the on-off switch was a very labor intensive to install. I don't believe you have to get this installed which may save some bucks on the install. I probably could have negotiated a better price but I received a 5% discount for the car with all the factory options.

Do you mind if I ask how much it cost (parts and installation)?

Thanks!

You can get PSE for around $1,500, plus around $100 to install only the mufflers (no electronics/vacuum/switch), which is how mine is installed.
