every so often like every 3 days or so after a short start or journey the car dont spark to life.... battery is fine it just takes 10-20 seconds to start and just turns over when it does start it kinda splutters to life.....

servicing is up to date spark plugs were done 6k ago and are good for 24k according to porsche.... someone mentioned glo plug or something and insulation breaking down... when should they be changed can you change 1 by one or have to do all of them.. they are £35 each i think so not a cheap job if it could be them....

any ideas ?

Could be the beginning of the end of your starter. When they start going downhill, they don't handle the heat very well. You end up with a car that doesn't want to restart when it's warm.

However, as RFM said, it's much better (and often cheaper in the long run) to check things with a tester rather than to just start replacing things.

ok this is definatly only happening after like a start to move out of garage then stop outside pop indoors lock door come out try to start it dont kick in straight away.... after any normal 5 min journey starts fine everytime its just stop and start it wont fire up for 10-20 secs of turning over then splutters to life ?

Very common with fuel injected engines. Short operation < 1 minute or so, can cause the engine to become rich making it difficult to start shortly thereafter.
