Old foam blowing out of my air conditing2000 Boxster S

Old foam that falls apart on touch is blowing out of my air conditioning and defroster. Some pieces stick in vents, when you reach in to remove them they fall apart.

yup. Welcome to the club. The foam is from the climate control doors throughout the system. its an increadible pain to get to them and repair/replace.

Thanks for the info. I was afraid that it would be a pain to fix. I guess I'll have to pay Porsche a zillion dollars to fix it or live with it.

I just keep vacuuming it off of the dash. Maybe one day I will attempt to fix it but so many other projects are in front of it...

Not exactly. A member named Shawn ("rsfeller") has done a comprehensive write-up on that repair, with photos. A real pain, but not that difficult to fix:
