996 Springs Question...

Recommended Posts

Ok, i have done searches and tryed to sift throught the information about porsche springs and the different setups available. I am thoroughly confused, lol!!! I have a 03 996 C4S with front springs with orange white/blue markings and rear with orange green/pink coloring on it. I want to lower the vehicle and dont mind the rough ride, but mostly want to just drop the gap in the wheel well. I really just want to do springs since i dont race and drive only about 3 times a week. Which would be the best solution for me, row m030? H&R springs? Thanks for any help.....

Does anybody have a good source with reasonable pricing for purchasing Euro or USA ROW spring sets. Do you have to change out the struts as well? What is the difference between the Euro and the USA ROW spring sets? Thanks

In the US - Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) link at top right.

Outside the US - Carnewal.com

A couple of monts ago I got a MO30 Row set, springs, struts and sway bars, for $980 +shipping from Sunset. You might want to see if the special is still available as the set dropped my car a little ove an inch and made the handling so much better. I don't know how much better for the track it would be but on back roads the only thing that I can say is that it feels tight and much more able to do kickbacks. The ride isn't even harsh enough to annoy my wife and Co-pilot. Ed
