996 Service/Shop Manual Updates

All of the supplemets start with the original part number WKD-483-721.

So each supplement would be an add on number WKD-483-721-92.

You need to look at your last supplement number and get all the supplements from that number to current (94).

Hi Loren,

Thanks for the information. I'm at supplement WKD 483721.39. So I'll order supplements WKD 483721. (40) (41) (42). I'm assuming these supplements include all the updates for groups 0 through 9?

Best Regards,

John

It is likely that some of these may be difficult to obtain. Once gone, they may be reluctant to reproduce just one, or it may take a very long time to obtain some supplements.

Also, these need to be installed sequentially. so if you are missing 40 and have 41 through 94, then you need to wait to get 40 to install the remaining supplements.

Thanks for the information guys. Hummm...... I ordered my service manual in July 2003 and their's been 55 supplements in little over a year? That's amazing! I believe I filled out an update supplement card and sent it into Porsche. They have never notified me. I wonder what's up with that.

Porsche TSI wants $5200.00 for a one year subscription or $110.00 per document fee. I think that's a little too much. And, I understand the manual set is $2000.00 now.

What I really need it the wiring diagram supplements for the 03. If you have the number, I'll order it.

Thanks much!

John
