Mouse loves making a nest near the cabin filter

Recommended Posts

The other day, I replaced my busted amp with a newer one. I discovered there were tons of dried out grass seeds near the cabin filter.

I removed the plastic cover and discovered not only seeds but also mouse droppings. Yikes!

I cleaned that up and inspected everything near that area. There was no damage. Thank God!.....

My wife said it is cute and glad they made a nice little nest for them to survive winter.

I think my wife was cute for saying that.

If our 996 could think for itself, I somehow doubt that it would enjoy the company of those uninvited guests.

Just feel like sharing.

BTW, next year I would locate the openings on the cars and plug them up before hibernating it.

Good luck plugging holes! Mice are tough little buggers and will find a way inside. Better off to chase them away with rodent-repelling techniques of some kind. Other than my cat, I haven't found an effective one yet. :)

If they want to get in they will. I see about one car a week with this problem and they only thing that seems to work are the electronic devices to keep the rodents away. Just last week I removed about a pound of dried dog food from a air filter housing on a 944. I took a pic and will post it when I can.
