This might be a stupid question but here it is.......

There is an unconnected wire in the trunk, on the left under the mat. I was wondering if anyone knew what this was for. Doesn't seem to go anywhere or have any place to connect in to

If you mean passenger side it might be the connector for a CD changer.

Does you car have one? If not, I suspect that's what it is.

No cd changer, just Nav

Well then it's the connector for the CD changer.

It's included on all 997's whether or not a CD changer is fitted.

That's why these cars cost so much . . . . . it's those unused parts. (lol) :) :)

that is. I used it to install mine, its suppsed to be hidden inside the carpet though... nudge it back under :)
