Air Suspension Fault Warning

Recommended Posts

Hello All

I've just started to get the common Air Suspension Fault Warning (2003 TT) on my instrument cluster, sometimes when I start the vehicle, sometimes a few metres down the road and sometimes not at all! Vehicle has covered 70,000 miles.

The air suspension seems to be working as normal, not noticed any difference.

A scan with Durametric (On Level Control) has revealed the following;

1772 - Signal Lead for Pressure Sensor

Can this problem be resolved with the VW Compressor re-build kit? Sorry, I did do a search but could not find any real answers.

Thanks

Yes, the VW repair kit contains the sensor, build in the compressor body. You have to reuse the air lines from the old body cause the VW connections are not the same. Ask for a VW diagram, the exact possition of the compression ring on the piston is crucial.

Many thanks for the speedy reply.

I have just ordered the VW kit (7LO 698 030) - came to around £112.00.
