!984 911 (Euro) Knee Bar

Have been trying to figure out how to remove the knee bar in my RoW 911. The Bentley manual says to remove the screws on the door side of the bar, but mine has no such screws (none visible). Could this be clipped on somehow, or could I simply be missing something?

Hallo

on a pre 85 there are 3 studs with nuts wich can be reached from the backside. On Targs there is a reinforcment triangle sheet so to acces that bolt you must remove the lightswitch. Lightswicht has some live power cables only protectet by a rubber boot wich can/will desintegrate after the years so remove ground from battery before shorting anything out.
