Emissions Hose

Recommended Posts

I need help determining where this hose connects. I purchased the car without the right front fender so I do not know where it goes. I think it goes to the fuel filler but not sure. I have put red tape on the hose to highlight it. Thanks for the help.

The car is a 2000 base model

See the two hoses at the top right of the picture (in my previous post)?

I think that is where it goes.

In the US the EPA require that vapors from the tank go to the charcoal canister and get re-condensed or burned as fuel.

Also required is a valve test at startup that tells the DME if the system has a leak (even a bad o-ring on the gas cap).
