Right Xenon Head Light Started Flickering.

Recommended Posts

My Xenon headlights started flickering and when they are on, they have a purple tint. I did some research to find out that that what happens when they are on their last leg.

I bought two lights for $31 including shipping from www.xenonlightshid.com

I was surprised to get them so cheap, since I saw them go for $75 a piece elsewhere.

Kristian

PS.I hope they are the right ones

Hi,

The "xenon" bulbs came today. They are the superbrightlight bulbs... So they got me with their BS bulbs. I'm sending them back.

I was suprised that they mislead me on the website. I'm sure they get a lot of returns....

Kristian

Hey Kristian, let us know how the replacement D2S's work out. I just bought some Litronics for my 996 and was wondering on lifespan/replacement cost for the OEM bulbs.

Original xenon Flickering first need check the bulb .you can change take the right headlight bulb to left headlight.

if bulb is ok, you need check the xenon headlight control unit(is ballast)

Porsche 996 oem ballast like this Porsche-996-911-OEM-Xenon-D2S-Ballast.jpg

and you buy the 31usd pair ballast is aftermarket. i suggest car owner need buy oem bulb is philips D2S Xenon Bulb
