Major Service Intervals

According to my maintenance book and those posted on this site, Major Service is recommended for 05-07 Boxster at 40K intervals or 4 years. For 08 Boxsters recommendation is for every 36K or 3 years.

My Porsche dealer service manager states current recommendation is every 30K or 4 years?.

What are others doing?

D, we have a 98 986 and I have tried to stay to the 15k, 30k, 60k, 90k schedule. That being said the model year does tend to change the intervals. With the 30k milestones I felt comfortable becasue I do the 'DIY' basics myself and leave the 'big' service to the dealer. I would tend to lean towards the 30k service intervals.
