Boot Release via Remote not working/ interior lights not working

I've searched and searched, looks like stealer visit time. my 02 box (recently acquired) with electric rear will NOT open via remote. I can see the dealio flash on the dash when pressed but now actuator sound. doors and front works fine via remote

Also none of the interior lights are working unless I put in the key. Any new feedback on these issues?

It may be that the alarm system has slipped into energy-saving (transit) mode. I have experienced a few cars where this has been the case, and it happened for no apparent reason. The only way to 'wake it up' is by having someone perform the "Sports Car Handover" routine with a PST2 or PIWIS tester. The routine is in the "Special Functions" menu of the PST2.
