MY 1987 944 (was an "S" see earlier posts from me) has a voltage supply problem. Car starts and runs fine as long as the demand on the electrical system is light. But when heavy load is placed on the system by turning on all lights, running the AC and/or running the fan at high speed; the engine start to stumble and will stall if the load is not reduced. I have replaced the battery and alternator, cleaned battery, starter and alt. connections, and all other connections I can reach. But nothing seems to help. Voltage at the battery terminal and coil looks normal under all conditions. Help!

Does this car have a fusable link somewhere? Any other Suggestions?
