shifting problems with new gt3rs

shucks

Recommended Posts

Have purchased a new 2011 gt3rs. This is not my first porsche, I own and have owned many but this one seems to have difficulty shifting into third gear at rpms above 6000. Has anyone else experienced this? My dealer says I'm crazy but it happens often enough to make me wonder. I also have an SCCA license so I should know how to shift, but maybe not. Any thoughts???

:welcome:

Have them put the Porsche tool on the shifter (inside) and check the cable alignments.

Same thing on the shifter levers on the transmission - they should inspect for damage or if they are bent. Who know what happens when they put these on and take them off the boat.

Yes, Ihad the same problem and they can blame driver abuse and not cover it under warranty if you keep driving it. Read the owners manual it's full of loopholes.
