hello guys

The time of the clutch has arrived.

The problem:as we allready ordered from a friend with an simmilar Porsche a new kit from Porsche(disc, bearing and pressure plate)i have noticed that the pressure plate and bearing are the Porche 996 PET numbers but the clutch disc had an 997 starting code.

We mounted it but he stared to smell when driving a bit aggresive and after a week he started to slip again.

I guess that maybe there is an imballance betwen the old flywheel, new pressure plate and the 997 disc dimenssion.

The question:what is the best sollution as a clutch disc for this 2002 Porsche Carrera 2-gen 996 ? an 996 gt3 sachs disc?an aftermaket ?what?

I was personally kind of satissfied over the 996 genuine clutch but if there is a way to improve...i look for it , as well as i don't like that clutch setup allready offered by Porsche dealer to us.

Cheers
