RH Front Door glass mech

Recommended Posts

Hi

looking for the part number for the cable mech on the RH front door (drivers door, in the UK)

is the mech available seperately ?

only the cable is broken - result of glass frozen to seals, and trying to operate window...

so, ideally, I just want to replace this section.

also, anyone got the procedure for the mech replacement & trim removal ?

I've got all of it off , but there appears to be two blind rivets into the door lock mech, that I don't want to drill out, as I cant see a way to get them back in !

thanks

David

Thanks Loren;

I can find reference to the leather trim removal, but not the inner door trim sheet metal - looks like there are two rivets from inside the sheet !

I've drilled out the ones on the top, but can possible replace the mech without removing the other two rivets.
