SET UP DISTRIBUTION AT my 911/996 2003

Hello,

I have a 911/996 2003 carrera and last summer i was running with it out of oil but not so long to damage it too bad.So i tried to rebuild the engine so i have bought all the damaged pieces.The axle,bearings,pomps and everything.Now i put all in order but i hardly try to find someone which know how to set up the distribution because i hared that is an order how to put the crankshafts and the chain.Please someone help me i am in a desperate situation because i have broken one crankshaft already because i didn't put them well in order and i already bought a new one so i don't want to do the same mistake again.

This is a big problem because we do not have a qualified shop for this here.i went to porsche Romania service and they told me that they donțt repair engines,they change with new one.thats all....this is the reason that i am so disperate because i can not find someone to ask about it.

Correct assembly of the M96/97 engine requires a significant amount of specialized single use tooling, as well as very specific knowledge or access to the OEM engine manuals, both of which are expensive and not always easy to find. I know of no way to get around these issues. Individuals that have successfully assembled their own engines have either purchased all of the necessary equipment and tooling, or fabricated their own. If you do not have access to the tools and the correct assembly information, you are heading for a disaster. This is why no Porsche dealers, either in Romania or the USA, assemble or rebuild engines; they just put in new ones they get from Porsche. Here in North America, there are only a handful of shops that can do this type of work.

Still a minor correction, every OPC in West Europe is required to buy any special tool of any type of Porsche at Porsche Germany or his Representative importer. The main reason way they prefer to install a rebuild (when the warranty is expired) is the pricing, they have a nice benefit, 100% risk free for them plus another 2 years warranty paid by the factory. However, they can certainly do it and the tools would be available to. Eastern Europe (Roumania) would of course be a different story i don't know that.

Si eu sunt din Romania ::). daca ai cumparat toate piesele iti pot recomanda cu incredere pe cineva care e specializat in motoare boxer(Subaru), el face masini de raliu.

Eu am tester de Porsche, Durametric Profesional si te pot ajuta fara nici un ban, plus gasim toate manualele de reparatie, etc..

da-mi un pm sa te pun in legatura cu el.
