Looking for OEM Euro Plate

Recommended Posts

Took a trip to the PORSCHE Museum and really want to pick up this plate for my 06 S.

Snapped this photo out front. Any ideas on where to get AN ORIGINAL OEM.

Not the cheap ones that snap the plate in. I like the open plate look better and really want this exact type.

Thoughts ???

And I know some folks don't like these :-))

I would think you can order the euro license plate holder directly form Porsche. I'd say visit or go on-line to a Porsche parts department.

The part number appears to be 997 701 109 00.

Mount to bumper facia screws (2) are 999 919 227 A2 while the license place mounting screws (2) are 999 919 228 A2.

GL

ps. I was at the Porsche Museum late March on the way w/ my son to pick up his new M3 at BMW Welt (Munich). We visited Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Audi and BMW. I't was a 'bucket list' trip for me.

The front Euro plate attached to my son's new M3 (when picked up at BMW Welt-Munich) was simply attached w/ 2-sided foam tape.

You might want to consider this method to avoid holes (if they aren't already there) in the front facia.
