alright all,

Engine management light? Can not having N rated tires send a roug signal to the car as the Porsche dealer says they can??? Can this be the case, 20" wheels. I thought a tire was a tire?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

I agree, somebody is talking out of their bum. These cars are built for off-road use so I doubt a rough ride would be a reason for a CEL. Check the emission lines under the side covers and wait until you run another tank of gas through it to see if it clears up. Also make sure your petrol cap is a good tight fit...

All the tires are the same size, it initially went in with a TCM rough road fault - earth fault or module fault!!! They have had my car for 8 weeks! I personally phoned Porsche Glasgow and that's what the after sales manager was saying about n rated tires.

I have had various sports cars ie m3 etc and they really need good tires and used different makes and all was fine.

If it was really snowy and I changed to snow tires/wheels they are basically saying that I would need to go back to Porsche once snow has cleared to get light put out!!! Alot of **** I think!!!

I feel I am stck in a rut
