Hi All,

Trying to retrofit the PSE onto my 2007 997.1 C2S car. However, after wiring everything, the "exhaust" button on dash is reading opposite. i.e. when i press to turn it on, it is actually off and vice versa. In addition, the valve turns off whenever i hit 3,000 rpm and above.

Does anyone have an installation guide for the 2007 model? I have the 2006 installation guide and this is not working correct. I am trying to see where did i go wrong in the wiring process or if someone here can give me their 2 cents.

Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. When you say "check-value", i am assuming you mean the "switch-over valve"?

Perhaps, you can clarify what is installing "backwards"?

There is no difference between the 2006 and 2007 sport exhaust.

Double check your wiring and make sure you didn't put the check valve in backwards.

The black/white check-valve looks to be from a older model.

Does anyone have a PSE installed in their 2007 997 cabriolet and can take a picture so i can try to figure it out.

Or does anyone else know how else to resolve this problem. Everything is working but in reverse order.

The instructions are in a TSB which we already have on the site - and is available to view by our Contributing Members. So we already have it.

Guys, while going through the PSE installation guide from the TSB, it would appear there is a diode for PSE chamber 17. I don't have the diode for this and wonder if anyone knows what is the voltage for this so i can go source for it?

The diode is already in the system - all you install is the wire connection.
