noise in blower motor

What would cause a noise in the blower motor that almost sounds like the fan is loose or something is contacting the fan blades..Both with the heat or the A/C??? Its making me crazy...The higher the speed the louder it gets..HELP

If you do a search here for weather-stripping or fan noise you will see that it is a fairly common problem.

Some folks have been lucky enough to reach in through the pollen filter opening (fan off of course) and remove the errant weather-stripping foam.

Well I hope that is the case and I can get to it through the opening you mentioned..Im new to the site and this is what makes a site like this great...People helping each other out when in need...Thanks Loren and thanks Renntech.
