GT2 RS exhaust sound?

Wow,

I was at my dealer dropping off my car for warranty work yesterday. There was a almost new GT2 RS there for service (actually a puntured tire and broken rear rim.) :unsure:

The tech started it up to move it... Oh my what a sound!:clapping: It sounded like a cup car. I wish my 997 TT could sound like that..

Question.. Is the GT2 RS engine completely different from the engine in my 2007 997 TT? Or is it just modified? Is the muffler and exhaust completely different? It must be.. How does it create that sound? It doesn"t sound like any turbo I have ever heard..

Love to hear anyones input on this..

Mystery solved. Turns out the owner put an aftermarket exhaust on the GT2. That's why it sounds soooo good... Didn't think that could be a stock sound....Even for a GT2 RS..
