Search engine changes

We have changed the search engine here from SQL searching to a 3rd party application that is much faster and uses fewer resources.

This should alleviate most of the slow downs and re-boots needed when the SQL search got overwhelmed with too many posts (over 200k) and too many users searching at the same time (over 400 at a some times).

What you should notice is that searching should be faster and site slow downs should pretty much be gone. BTW even "View New Content" is a search and many of the great new features of the recent site update include finding stuff fast - via searches.

One (hopefully temporary) issue with the new search is only an issue for Tapatalk mobile users. It seems that Tapatalk needs to do some updates to either their client or the server side code (or both?) to handle the new searches. They are working on it but give no eta for the update. I'll try and keep folks informed here of any news I hear.
