Bleeding Clutch Slave Cylinder

Last night I did my first brake bleed on my new (to me) 997.1 GT3. I also wanted to bleed the clutch lines. I read up on how to do this, but once I located the bleed valve on the clutch slave cylinder I was not able to reach it. My are could not get past the other lines in order to reach, much less open, the bleed valve. Has anyone done this and how did they get to the bleed valve? Thanks for any help!
