Recommended Posts

Preliminary work

Release the relay carrier in the plenum chamber E-box and lay it aside. Refer to 97 90 19 Removing and

installing relay carrier, plenum chamber E-box - as of MY 2003 (All Models) .

I need to replace my alarn siren and I'm looking for instructions on removing the fuse box above it.

Loren you ROCK! This was exactly what I needed! People may need it to replace the darn alarm siren that keeps failing due to Porche's poor design on the horns due to water penetration. Again, you just saved me $300 in labor!

I'm also looking to replace the siren, my workshop manual explains how to remove the siren but not how to remove the fuse box (section: 97 90 19 Removing andinstalling relay carrier).

Can someone explain how you remove the fuse box/relay carrier.

Thx, Stu
