Porsche Fault Code #23

Recommended Posts

I just pulled a fault code with my Durametric. It says " Porsche Fault Code #23 Footwell Blow-Off Sensor Fault Part #12".

Does anyone know what this is, or where it's located?

I've had heating issues on and off for a couple of years now and maybe this is why.

Any help you might be able to offer would be appreciated!

What would the procedure be for removing the sensor? It appears to be on the upper right hand side, just above the blower assembly. The problem is, it looks like it's right up against the kick panel with no way to get at it, short of pulling the whole heater-a/c assembly out. I pulled the airbag out, so I can get a finger on it, but that's about it.

I hope there's some easy trick I'm missing.

Thanks!
