Hi,

I'm having a few issues with my TPMS setup - 2003 Turbo.

I've just replaced all four sensors, as suggested by the Porsche dealer, but I'm still getting a 'System Not Active Workshop' warning. I suspect it's the module that will also need replacing.

Could someone explain where it is? I've searched and searched but I've not been able to find much detail online.

I really wish I'd just had this system disabled. :cursing:

Thanks. :help:

I selected the wheel type/size etc., which should start the learning process, as I understand it, but I still only get that message.

Is there another way to reset it that I don't know about? I guess the dealer will need to plug it in.

Additional question: Did you make sure the sensors you used matched the frequency of the TPMS system? Porsche had a radio frequency change at one point and if the wrong sensor frequency is used, the module cannot see the sensors at all as it watches only one frequency.....

At short notice I managed to get it dropped off at the dealer this morning.

They've cleared the errors and reset everything and all appears to be working well. They're going to leave it overnight and confirm tomorrow.

I think the errors may have been caused by running winter wheels with TPMS sensors from a later Cayenne which operate at a different frequency. Is that likely?

JFP in PA - Thanks for your help.
