Want you opinion. I am running a fault code P1137 (446) Clutch Switch - Signal Implausible.Possible fault cause:- Fuse faulty (Fuse B7)- Clutch switch- Short circuit to B+- Open circuitI replaced the red cruise control switch.http://www.renntech....88468_thumb.jpg (fig. 1)My understanding is there are two clutch switches, one of them being clutch interlock switch that is pressed to start the car. (not pictured) Is it possible that is the switch the fault cause is referring to? I have never had any problems with starting the car, and have checked the fuse.

The fault code is driving me nuts. I have found the fault code gives me a lag between shifting especially in 2nd gear. Is there any other problem that might be causing this, and has anyone else experienced this problem and got the remedy? Have searched the daylights out of this problem and it is rare.

You can use a jumper wire and short across the interlock switch to test and see if that is the problem. Of course be careful when you do that as you can start the car without depressing the clutch.

If the fault clears and does not come back with the jumper then it is that switch.

The clutch interlock switch has a metal arm (all the others have push buttons).
