Litronic headlamp washers

Recommended Posts

My headlamp washers don't work and I'm puzzled as to how to fix them. They're supposed to work with the headlights (litronic) on but they don't. In an earlier post it was mentioned that the pump for these washers may be bad and/or the lines plugged or broken. My question is whether there is a bulletin on how to get to the pump and/or lines to repair them. It was mentioned in an earlier post the the pump was under the left inner fender cover and I don't have a clue as to how to access that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

George

Yes, the headlight washer and the windshield washer each have their own pump.

Both are up under the left front fender.

To get to them you will need to remove the left front wheel and the plastic wheel liner.

The pumps and tank are up towards the windshield so you will need a light to see everything.

Chances are you need a new headlight washer pump or there is a leak.
